Italian Festival - Opening Day Part II

How could I forget this! Gee, nothing says Italian Festival like the homemade EGG ROLLS booth. (Look for it on Scott Street.) Can't tell you how they taste. I didn't get any. Getting an egg roll at an Italian Festival just seems.....wrong.

I've been going to the Italian Festival for over 15 years, attending several times each season. This $5 admission fee is ridiculous. I won't be going back.

At least give out a $5 coupon for one of the food courts if they want to keep out people that just use this place as a hangout.

Watch attendance drop and vendors lose money over the Festivals GREED !!

I have been going to the festival since I was a young child. First I definitely agree with the admission to keep riff raff out. Second I went last night and for the first time was very disappointed. I was shocked at the lack of attendence and the music was absolutely lousy!!! I usually go the the fest 4 to 5 times a week but once this year was plenty for me. Sorry festival but I believe your heyday is over.

It's too hot to go to the Festival so far, but hoepefully it will cool down a bit. Those were some great photos, they look like the same rides they had 25 years ago. And as far as the last commentor who wouldn't come up off of $5 for admission, he's probably just the kind of riff raff that needs to stay out.
