Regular Guy on Pizza

Our delightful new reviewer Buddy Hurlock, also known as The Regular Guy, weighs in on pizza in today's 55 Hours.

The Regular Guy likes regular pizza. No fancy-schmancy stuff. No other toppings other than pepperoni.

Read the story and his picks. The photo above was taken at Dom's Deli in Newport, the Regular Guy's favorite place for a pie.

Did your favorite pizza make his lists? If not, share your thoughts below.

Read The Regular Guy Grub posts here every Tuesday.

Tony's Cafe at the top of Possum Park Rd is the best in the area. I also like Cacciatori Pizzeria‎ in the Shops at Louviers and Bella Vista at the Shops of Limestone. Pietro's at Linden Hill is also good. But for now, Tony's is at the top. The cheesesteaks are best at Valle in Pike Creek shopping center.

Tony's Cafe is by far the best pizza whether you qualify by variety, quality of ingredients or taste.

Walk in and view their display of scrumptious pies and you’ll want to try every one of them.

They have two locations now.
Tony's Cafe (302) 737-2411http://www.tonyseatery.com/
at the corner of Possum Park Rd. and Paper Mill Road.

And

Amalfi (302) 738-5950
(previously The Back Yard Grill) in Suburban Plaza off Elkton Road.

Pietro's Pizza in the Shoppes of Linden Hill makes a breakfast pie that is out of this world. Great crust, eggs and cheese, topped with sausage, bacon, even scrapple and/or any other toppings they have-however you want it. Their breakfast sandwiches served on a toasted, buttered sub roll are delicious too.
