"Top Chef" casting call Wednesday in Philadelphia

Should Carla have taken her "hootie hoo" and gone home?

Did Fabio get further along on his good looks and charm rather than his cooking abilities?

Think you're a better chef than Hosea, dude to the right just named the winner of "Top Chef: New York"?

Prove it.

The Bravo TV series "Top Chef," returning for a sixth season, is now holding open calls for chefs interested in competing in the culinary competition series .

A Philadelphia casting call will be held Wednesday, March 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at XIX NINETEEN at Park Hyatt at the Bellevue, 200 S. Broad St.

Liz Alper, a casting assistant with Magical Elves, which produces "Top Chef", says that chefs should bring along copies of their resume, photos of themselves and photos of food that they make as well any articles that have been written about them.

This is just a "meet and greet," Alper says. No cooking is involved. She expects about 100 people.

Additional casting information is available at www.BravoTV.com/casting.
