Eating a forkful of scrambled eggs is pure torture to me.
Can’t stand ‘em.
My brain short circuits and the "danger, danger" alert goes off in my head: Get this spongy mess out of your mouth. RIGHT. NOW.
I sometimes get the same reaction when it comes to oatmeal.
I'll chalk it up to the mush factor.
I'm a crunchy food person and tend to graviate towards foods with snap. So do a lot of people, according to an interesting article today in the Chicago Tribune.

Try mixing cheddar or whatever cheese you like in with eggs when about halfway cooked. This take the mush factor out and they taste a LOT better. I also like hot sauce in the mix as well, but that's just me. Then again I like hot sauce on anything. The hotter the better like Habanero XXX hot.
OK, I'll give it a try. And the hot sauce, too. But ketchup - no way. Ketchup grosses me out in the morning. And what's up with putting it on scrapple?
Scrapple with ketchup, yuck. The only way to eat it properly is with syrup.
